Furniture-only shifting
Assessment for sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, cabinets, storage units and other confirmed furniture.
Arrange movement for selected furniture, appliances or a limited group of bulky household items without booking a full household relocation. The written scope can cover item condition, packing, dismantling feasibility, labour, vehicle, floors, lift, stairs, parking, route and destination placement.
This service is for limited-item movements. It does not automatically include a full household inventory, unlimited cartons, every installation task or all services associated with a complete relocation.
Assessment for sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, cabinets, storage units and other confirmed furniture.
Movement for prepared refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, televisions and other disclosed appliances.
A limited group of selected items moving together without converting the booking into an unlimited household package.
Room-to-room, floor-to-floor or tower-to-tower movement when the route, lift, stairs and placement are feasible.
Movement within a residential or office complex when common-area rules, carrying distance and vehicle access are confirmed.
Large, awkward, heavy, fragile, repaired or low-clearance items reviewed separately before acceptance.
A wardrobe, sofa or dining table can vary greatly in weight, size, detachable parts and route requirements.
Share length, width, detachable legs, recliner mechanism, fabric or leather condition and the narrowest access point.
Confirm dimensions, panels, fittings, mirrors, drawers, hardware and whether suitable dismantling is required.
Identify glass, stone, detachable tops, legs, weak joints and protective packing requirements.
Empty contents, remove loose shelves where applicable and disclose glass doors, existing repairs or wall fixing.
Appliance shifting covers physical preparation and movement only to the extent written. Testing, repair and specialist installation are separate.
Remove food, defrost where required, clean, dry, secure shelves and disclose leaks, dents, loose doors or existing faults.
Drain water, disconnect hoses, secure loose components and retain transit bolts or manufacturer supports where available.
Disclose screen size, stand, wall mount, original packaging, existing marks and customer responsibility for data or settings.
Share model, dimensions, approximate weight, connections, detachable parts and whether a qualified technician is required.
Not every item should be dismantled. Age, fittings, repairs, concealed fixings and material condition can make dismantling unsuitable or increase the risk of damage.
The customer should arrange suitable qualified support when the item requires technical disconnection, installation, testing or wall work.
Photographs help identify existing marks, weakness, repairs and removable components before the item is packed or moved.
| Item condition | What to record | Possible preparation | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Finished furniture | Scratches, chips, polish, laminate and edge condition | Covers, suitable wrapping and edge protection | Existing marks remain part of the condition record |
| Glass or mirror surfaces | Cracks, chips, loose panels, frames and fixing method | Item-specific cushioning, covers or custom support | Weak or repaired glass may require separate assessment |
| Upholstered furniture | Fabric tears, stains, loose legs and recliner function | Suitable covers and component protection | Cleaning and repair are not included |
| Appliances | Dents, rust, leaks, loose doors, shelves and operating condition | Drying, accessory packing and surface protection | Testing and repair remain separate |
| Customer-packed goods | Visible wrapping, carton strength and exposed surfaces | Repacking only when separately confirmed | Internal packing quality cannot be verified |
| Repaired or modified items | Previous repair, added fittings, weak joints and movement restrictions | Special handling or custom support assessment | Ordinary handling may be declined |
The item must fit through the pickup and destination route. Dimensions alone are not enough when the path has turns, railings, low ceilings or lift restrictions.
Share the narrowest width, height, turns and whether doors or frames restrict the movement path.
Confirm lift dimensions, door opening, weight restrictions, booking window and whether the item can remain upright where required.
Identify staircase width, turns, railings, low ceilings, split levels and the destination floor.
Provide the lawful vehicle position, basement limits and approximate carrying distance to the item.
A selected-item move may use a smaller vehicle than a complete household move, but the vehicle must still provide suitable loading height, internal space and weather protection.
A room-to-room or tower-to-tower movement may avoid road transport but can still require packing, crew planning, service-lift access and common-area permissions.
Suitable for repositioning selected items when the route, floor protection and destination space are ready.
Requires lift or staircase review and confirmation of the final placement location.
May require common-area carrying, a shuttle vehicle, separate lift slots or society permission.
Goods can be moved to another room, unit or confirmed temporary location when the complete route and responsibility are written.
Clear decisions and a usable route help prevent delays and protect customer-held belongings.
Remove clothing, documents, crockery, electronics and loose personal items unless a separate packing scope is confirmed.
Remove food, drain water, dry surfaces, disconnect services and secure ordinary accessories.
Remove loose rugs, décor, footwear, plant trays and other obstacles from doorways, corridors and lift approaches.
Provide destination access, keys, parking, floor and final placement instructions before dispatch.
A quotation for one sofa, one refrigerator or a few pieces of furniture should not be treated as an open-ended household booking. Added cartons, décor, appliances, balcony goods or multiple rooms can change the packing, labour, vehicle and time required.
Share newly added goods before the service date. A second wardrobe, extra seating, a washing machine or a larger appliance can affect vehicle space and crew planning.
Cartons, kitchenware, clothing bags, books and loose household goods can change a selected-item move into a small local or full household scope.
An extra building, storage point, seller address or delivery stop changes the route and should be written into a revised quotation.
A different floor, unavailable lift, longer carrying distance or newly requested room placement can change labour and handling time.
The authorised receiver should be available at the destination, understand the agreed placement and review visible condition after the item is unloaded.
Compare the furniture, appliance and detachable components with the quotation, photographs or handover notes.
Check accessible surfaces, glass, doors, shelves, fittings and visible packing concerns before ordinary protection is removed or discarded.
Provide one clear placement instruction while the team is present. Repeated repositioning or movement to another room may be outside the original scope.
Keep the quotation, photographs, payment record, condition notes and any written change confirmation for reference.
The sequence can vary, but the item, condition, access, packing, vehicle and placement should remain clear.
Share photos, dimensions and route.
Record marks, repairs and weak points.
Check doors, lifts, stairs and parking.
Confirm packing, labour and vehicle.
Empty goods and arrange technician work.
Protect and move the confirmed item.
Follow the written route and placement.
Review placement and visible concerns.
